Hyland's Cough Syrup with Honey
How often have you worried about those words on cough medicine - "Children: 1/2 adult dose?" Here is a cough remedy formulated especially for children using safe, natural ingredients in a simple syrup with pleasant-tasting honey. Of course, a high fever or persistent coughing calls for a consultation with your doctor, but the irritating cough that goes with the common head cold has responded to this cough syrup for generations. Not for use with children under 1 year of age.
Formula:
Ipecacuanha - for dry coughs that tend to become spasmodic and may cause gagging
Aconitum Napellus - for hoarse, dry, croupy cough with sudden onset
Spongia Tosta - for dry barking croupy coughs that are non-productive
Antimonium Tartaricum - for rattling cough
Uses: A homeopathic combination for the temporary relief of symptoms of simple, dry, tight or tickling coughs due to colds in children.
Indications:
Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls as required. May be taken with or without water. Repeat as often as necessary to relieve symptoms.
Children 1 to 12 years: 1 to 3 teaspoonfuls as required.
Children under 1 year of age: Consult a licensed health care professional before using this product.
